[KKR Gero Shirakawa] No deterioration after 6 years! Construction case utilizing OPT.

The bridge over the outdoor pond can also use wood with a hinoki flavor. It is made from materials utilizing oil palm trunks (OPT).

By using compressed Hinoki wood on the surface of OPT laminated material, the surface has the texture of Hinoki. Since OPT and Hinoki are integrally molded, it exudes the luxurious feel of solid Hinoki boards. Installed as a bridge in the garden of a ryokan and in indoor washbasins. Although it is the most challenging environment for wood, being a bridge over an outdoor pond, it has been utilized without any issues for five years. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
